ABOUT US

ABOUT US

I’m truly grateful to support people during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

What I love most is being present as individuals explore, reflect, and move toward what matters most to them—at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

I believe every person is the expert in their own life - you are always in the driver seat!

My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, encouragement, and space to build confidence and find your own direction.

I’m compassionate, empathetic, and caring, and I genuinely value each person’s uniqueness and lived experience.

Whether you are seeking one‑to‑one support, joining a group, or engaging in a tailored program, you’ll find genuine care, thoughtful guidance, and room to grow at your own pace.

MILOU

IMG_2581.jpg

Hi! I’m Milou, a nearly 5-year-young Golden Retriever with a heart as big as my love for humans.

I adore meeting everyone—big, small, furry, or otherwise—and I’m over the moon to now be a therapy dog, to join mum as her sidekick to spread smiles and wagging tails wherever we go.

I’m a simple dog at heart: long walks on the beach make me very happy, a good marrow bone keeps my tail wagging, and plenty of long snoozes keep me… well, let’s just say “well-rested for cuddles and fun!”

I can’t wait to sniff, smile, and share joy with all the wonderful people I get to meet.

My Approach

My work is humanistic, trauma-informed, and draws on evidence-based approaches, making each session flexible and responsive—shaped by your needs, your experiences, and what feels most helpful for you in the moment.

                 Psychodynamic Approach

exploring how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns can influence thoughts,

emotions, and behaviours, supporting insight, self-understanding, and personal growth

                  Positive Psychology

focusing on strengths, wellbeing, and nurturing hope and meaningful resources in everyday life

                  Solution-Focused Therapy

focusing on practical steps, small changes, and achievable goals that support real-life progress

                  Strengths-Based Practice

recognising your resilience, inner resources, and capabilities, even during difficult times

                  Play Therapy

Using creative, playful activities to explore emotions, build coping skills, and support healing

in a safe and engaging way.

"A pet is an island of sanity

in what appears to be an insane world.

Friendship retains its traditional values and securities in one’s relationship with one’s pet.

Whether a dog, cat, bird, fish, turtle or what have you, one can rely upon the fact that one’s pet will always remain a faithful, intimate, non-competitive friend, regardless of the good or ill fortune life brings us."
